Skype call button grayed out
I installed Skype on my Windows Mobile phone and have used it several times. Today however, the call button to make calls to landlines is grayed out. I am connected to wifi but any ideas why this might be happening, please?

Re: Skype call button grayed out
Do you have Skype minutes? I know to make landline calls you need to purchase Skype minutes. It is not free like Skype to Skype calls are.

Re: Skype call button grayed out
Yes, I have lots of credit so that is not the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still cannot press call.

Who is your carrier?
Current Device: Samsung Galaxy Note II - Rooted Stock ROM
Retired Device: HTC EVO Shift 4G - (Rooted) JellyBelly ROM 4.1.2
Tablet: Kindle Fire
The school year is back in session - I'm likely to be absent from here quite a bit...

Re: Skype call button grayed out
I live in the Bahamas but Skype works fine on my iPad and iTouch so Skype is not being blocked. In fact, I can sometimes make Skype calls through Nimbuzz on the WM phone but it is not too consistent.

Try signing out of Skype on your WM phone, and then signing back in?

Re: Skype call button grayed out
Do you mean Skype? Not sure...how do I see that? It probably would not be up to date as Skype does not support WM so I guess the download would be rather old? But the Skype site says that anyone still using it will be able to continue at least through 2010 even though it will not be supported.
By the way, thanks so much for all the thought you are putting into this! I really appreciate it.Last edited by michali; 06-01-2010 at 11:08 PM.
