Moving EVERYTHING from Treo to HTC
Hello all! I am in the works of getting my hands on a HTC 6700. I would like to extract all my contacts, text message conversations, appointments, (in short) EVERYTHING off my Treo to put onto the HTC.
The catch, I haven't been able to sync my Treo with my Mac book in months, and don't have the time (school) to really mess around with it to get it to sync.
Is there any solution to my need to move from Palm OS to Windows Mobile without a recent sync under my belt?
Thanks guys/gals! I look foward to the response!

Bill, you might get lucky, but just about every solution I know of includes synchronizing your Treo.

Re: Moving EVERYTHING from Treo to HTC
Hpmh. I knew that was going to be the solution. I mean come now William, these things revolve around syncs.! So a new mission is to get myself up an syncing again.
Once I can successfully sync again, anyone know what the best route to getting everything from Palm OS to WM?
Thanks!

Re: Moving EVERYTHING from Treo to HTC
Sorry for the nagging gang, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a program that would pull all the necessary information from my Palm OS Treo to a Windows Mobile HTC.
If I can get them both to sync is there a way to get everything moved from one to another?
Is it possible to beam all the contacts from the Treo to the HTC 6700?
Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. I am trading with someone and can't get rid of my Treo without getting all the information off of it first. Please help!
Thanks.

Re: Moving EVERYTHING from Treo to HTC
You could try beaming contacts from the Treo to the 6700 either over IR or Bluetooth, but as far as I know you'd have to do it one at a time. I don't recall what the Treo 650's Exchange server sync capabilities are--if it supports it, you could get a free online Exchange account like those offered by Mail2Web, sync the Treo to it, then sync the 6700.

DATEBK5 had a "beam category" capability.

Re: Moving EVERYTHING from Treo to HTC
Thanks AKA but I was wondering: Is that an application for WM or Palm?DATEBK5 had a "beam category" capability.
Also, assuming that I get my Treo to sync once again using Outlook on a Windows Machine, then I sync the 6700 with Outlook on the same machine, and all the contacts, dates, and memos move over:- what stops the Outlook from erasing the information from the Palm and putting the blank information from outlook onto it
- and is there any way to move text message conversations and pictures as well?
Thanks very much everyone for the time. If anyone could help me with this it would be GREATLY appreciated.
