I've just tested InfiniteDreams' new Bluetooth, multiplatform game that was released yesterday, EXPLODE ARENA ( http://www.idreams.pl/explodearena/explodearena.html ) . It's one of the very few BT games out there. (See for example http://www.firstloox.org//forums/showthread.php?t=2869 on the others.)

The soundtrack is indeed very cool (even if not stereo - the authors should check out, for example, Pocket UFO, with its excellent stereo sound track!), it delivers very good C64 feelings (good ol' days ).

Now for the most important part, the multiplayer:

- between an iPAQ 1940 and a 2210, it worked flawlessly. In some cases, the game didn't start - that is, the client didn't notice that the server had started the game. In most cases, however, the game started and went OK.

- on my (WM2003SE VGA, BT stack is Widcomm 1.5) Pocket Loox 720, however, the program always crashed on trying to accessing the BT: that is, both at starting the client mode and clicking 'Search' in server mode. Dunno if it's a PL720-specific, or, more broadly, a WM2003SE/Widcomm 1.5+-specific bug.

- BT-enabled MS Smartphones aren't supported. Now that more and more MS Smartphones start to support

- much as the game promises Symbian compatibility, Symbian users over at the official game forums at http://www.idreams.pl/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=SC;c=3 are complaining about BT problems.

The game itself is indeed pretty addictive. I really recommend it!

People over InfiniteDreams, fix the PL720 bug, please! I want to play it on my PL720. Don't force me to use my iPAQ 2210 for anything that needs using of the screen

EDIT: Unfortunately, the other BT multiplayer-enabled game from InfiniteDreams, SUPER MINERS ( http://www.idreams.pl/superminers/superminers.html ) is also suffering from the same problem.
