wanted: an integrated Today Screen plugin for appts and tasks
Hi All,
So far I've tried out CalendarPlus (ScaryBear) and also QuickAgenda (I think also ScaryBear).
I liked CalendarPlus better but it doesn't let me tie into the SuperCalendar for when I pull up appts. The expired trial copy of CalendarPlus (version 7.1) only shows "Default PIM" and "Pocket Informant" for PIM choices. The QuickAgenda does let me specifiy SuperCalendar as my PIM app. But the Today Screen real estate taken up by the "header" info is too much for my taste.
o a question:
Where can I find a buy copy of CalendarPlus? I tried ScaryBear's website but I couldn't readily find it. I *think* I originally downloaded the trial version from their website. The trial has expired.
While over on their site that's when I decide to try QuickAgenda when I couldn't readlly find CalendarPlus.
And that got me to thinking that I want something even more integrated. I don't care at all for the default Tasks PIM.
o Also another question:
Is SBSH Mobile Software and ScaryBear Software related? From their websites it would appear not.
I'm also thinking about trying PocketBreeze aftter searching around here on Brighthand...
Cheers,

okay I see from remove programs in settings that indeed the version of CalendarPlus I have must have come from SBSH.net and not ScaryBear...
sorry for me being confused.
but on the SBSH.net website it shows version 6.83 and I already have 7.1 for the trial??

I really like PIToday. While it is geared to work with Pocket Informant, I don't think you need it. Having Pocket Informant gives you access to some advanced features. Give it a shot.
You can find it at DeJe Online .

SBSH is no longer developing CalendarPlus. They are now supporting a program called Pocket Breeze. it can be found at the same site www.sbsh.net .
Pocket Breeze is a fantastic program and I highly recommend it. The customer support is simply the best I have ever encountered.
Give the trial a shot(it last for 6 days). I think you will like what you see.

Thanks guys,
I'm trying out PocketBreeze and do like it, especially the range of customizabilty. It also reminds me of CalendarPlus.
Major question: Can I tell it to pull up SuperCalendar (ScaryBear) for the Calendar PIM functions? It allows for "Default PIM", "Pocket Informant", "Custom PIM", and "Agenda Fusion". Obviously SuperCalendar is not there. But is there a way somehow to get at it thru the "Custom PIM" option?
Thanks and Cheers,

I don't think so. However, you can ask Amit(the developer) if he would add it in. He might do that.

I'll look around on the SBSH site and see if there's a way to submit an enhancement request. Or is there another way? I also imagine that maybe someone has already asked for this integration?

I don't remember anyone asking for tht before. Course I could have missed it. There is a request section in the forums of the site. It's a very good community. If someone has figured out someway to do it they will let you know.

Yes, I went over and discovered the "PocketBreeze Feature Requests" thread and am reading it. But I keep getting distracted by playing with PocketBreeze
Each time I sit and play with the config options more stuff becomes clear and I get it more and more to look like I want it to
Very COOL tool
Even if I can't get integration with SuperCalendar, I still think it rocks. Oh BTW, a search on the SBSH forums netted no hits on "SuperCalendar" but I'm going to keep reading there and maybe ask for this and see what happens..
Cheers and Thanks!
