Default Looking for some good games . . .

My wife loves tetris; I love chess. I'm sure that some of these games are better than others, so if anyone has one of these that you really like, please let me know.

Also, I've heard that the hexacto baseball is great, but the downloaded demo did not work, so I just don't know.

And, if there are any other great games out there, I'd love to know.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cool

I have recently become addicted to Pocket Slay, a turn-based strategy game that runs on Pocket PC.

If you like chess you'll probably like Slay.

    http://www.windowsgames.co.uk/slay.html

"Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles."

    Cheers,

    Rex.

I like Pocket Chess for PPC.

    You can download it here:

    or here:

And my favorite version of Tetris for PPC is CanTris.

    You can download it here:

My favorite PPC game is gfDoom. It looks and plays just like the original Doom game for PCs.

Here is a terriffic free version of BackGammon

Warring States is kinda fun... but I am still waiting for a release of Civilization 2... or... something in the vain of Lost Admiral... which was a DOS based game that might just run on the pda...

Hmmm... maybe someone should check it out...

Pocket GrandMaster is great for chess. Nothing matches it IMO. There are many good Tetris versions available.

I also recommend Pocket MiniGolf Bundle, Hot Death Uno, Brickslider and Warfare Inc.

I've been addicted to Slay for ages, incredible replay value in a great strategy game.

Conquest (by the same guy as Slay) is a ppc version of the board game Risk and is also very good.

For action games - Rocket Elite is fantastic.

So Billy, won't you buy me a UMPC?"
