The slowness is probably just a factor of the slower processors of our ancient 3835s compared to the X-scale devices. Anyway, the rotational paging of the animations is more disturbing than the slowness. With some images this is okay, but with the eye poking through the paper it is rather strange, with the eyelid blinking half at a time. It's rather insectoid or alien looking.

No, because the Animation works well on iPAQ 38xx with WM2003 OS.The slowness is probably just a factor of the slower processors of our ancient 3835s compared to the X-scale devices.

I couldn't have said it better myself
Thanks Gerard. I couldn't have said it better myself. The eye does look a little funky with the animation the way it is.

I don't think that is the problem. My device, the Dell Axim X5, is X-Scale and Hello Kitty looks like she is being disected. LOLOriginally posted by Gerard

I have to clarify following,
in princible !Wait was developed for the WM2003 OS ENG only.
It is pure coincidence that it works with the PPC2002 OS too.
Let me see to find a better solution for the PPC2002 user.

Well, instead of the whole block turning and the background changing from pink to blue, like Jury Duty's gif, her left eye will turn, then her right eye will turn, then one half of her body, and then the other have of her body.Originally posted by CharlyV

That new Hello Kitty may work better.
I think part of the problem is that even the normal wait symbol isn't always a fluid movement. It moves, then pauses, then moves, then pauses, depending on what your system is doing. For some of these files, the pauses show up more vivid than others.

Wow, been avoiding this thread until now...cool.
Does this slow a PPC down? I have a 2215.
Nice work folks. Dancing bananas, Neo flying, and HelloKitty, crazy. Everyone go back to work.
