Sending E-mail from PPC with free POP accts
I often travel overseas and have just signed up for iPASS so I can have internet access globally.
I also want to send & recieve e-mails from a free acct while I am away. I have signed up for hotPOP and softHome and can receive e-mails fine but cannot send any. I always get an error message or an unable message. I have tried smtp auth and it didn't make any difference. I have tried both Inbox & nPOP.
Has anyone any experience in doing this and can they give me any solutions etc that might help. I can use yahoo from my mobiel internet connection but that requires me to stay on-line to send/recieve which could get very expensive so that is why I want an e-mail account.
Any help appreciated
