Need to sync Groupwise at work... outlook at home
After a couple of years away from the pocketPC world I've just returned with a new iPAQ 2210. Couple of questions...
1. Does Activesync (3.7) support dual partnerships now or must one of my computers (Home/Work) be set as the partner and the other as a "Guest" as before?
2. We use the latest (?) Groupwise version at work - 5.5... something. Which is better: Intellisync or Syncwise? I'm mostly intereted in Calendar and Contacts sync... e-mail syncing is not a big priority but I'll do that too if it's not too much of a hassle.

Intellisync has always been the best way to sync with GroupWise. =)

Intellisync is the only "approved" Groupwise syncer for our office. The IS guys went over the products available and decided that they were the best.

You could always install Outlook and the Novell GroupWise plugin for Outlook to do your syncing at work.
The plugin lets outlook connect to a GroupWise server and do its "thing".

6.5 has been out since Feb. I believe. Heads and tails better and kicks Exchange's A**. Unfortunately the decision is not mine and we are now on E2kOriginally posted by Cisco

Just a note Intellisync does not sync emails with groupwise.
I have tried GW5.0, 5.5, 6.0. I don't know why intellisync doesn't support this for PPC. Email sync with GW is supported for PalmOS. As I understand it, you need to have outlook installed and connected in order to sync the emails.
Intellisync works great for syncing calendar and contacts.

I had no problems using it with GroupWise 5.5 and Outlook 2000. Didn't try it with Outlook 2002 though. My success could have been due to me being both the user and server admin. Kinda have an advantage there.Originally posted by Cisco
