Ah, well I didnt do anything like that. I simply used Windows Explorer on my desktop and made the folders from there. I didnt pick the folder icons.

Blazingwolf - you're right. It's a software conflict with Facelift.
I disabled Facelift and reloaded TodayPlus (v.0.9.3); the calendar function doesn't force a soft reset anymore.

Now I've got a hard decision to make. I love having fullscreen themes, the taskswitcher, etc. in Facelift - but I love this program, too. I may have to settle for v.0.8. It works just fine with Facelift.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that SRS can find a way to work around this....

Have you tried Wisbar Advanced? I used it in my 2215 with TodayPlus and it looks great.

Well, I think that would solve one of my problems in giving up Facelift. But I've become accustomed to having no lines in my themes. Not to mention the skinnable task and menu bars,
choice of fonts on all menus, a task switcher that actually closes programs, and all the rest. It even has a launcher (but they need to make it compatible with WM2003).

The other issue is that, even without Facelift enabled, this version of TodayPlus was acting weird on my Ipaq. The font colors kept changing from white to black and would not change back until the theme changed or TodayPlus was refreshed. It didn't matter what I set the font color to be in the skin file, it kept changing to black. Then my calendar icon disappeared... it just seemed to be a bit unstable on my machine. Dori

I think there is still some bugs around and the stability is good but not prefect.

well this really doesn't help, as when I release a new version it is stable and bugfree for me. Just saying there are some bugs does absolutely nothing to help. I need to know:

1) what the bug is
2) steps to reproduce it or when it occurs

if there is a chance for the bug to be fixed.

that kb article seems useful, but as I have no way to test proxies I think that I will have to put proxy support on hold for the moment.

Unfortunately until my new SD card arrives I have had to uninstall it as it appeared to use a fair bit of memory, I'm not sure if I discovered a memory leak or if it was something else on my system that caused it but after using it for a few hours about half my free memory was gone and I only recovered it with a soft reset. However I was installing other items during this period so they could have been the culprits.

there shouldn't be any memory leaks in TodayPlus.... I ran it through some tests and didn't find any problems, but I could have overlooked something.

Has anyone noticed that the battery bars when you use the gradient images arn't updating correctly?

if possible, could you post a screenshot showing the problem ?

I sorta asked this a couple days ago but I thought I'd try again.

The problem with making a PPC2000 version is that PPC2000 doens't have the activesync passthrough, which makes the weather / rss functions useless.

Like all the others already noticed, there is a major bug with the apointments (all this refers to the default skin):
- No Tasks are displayed
- In the split view no apointments are shown
- On the three pages you can circle through no appointments are shown on the 'ALL'-page nor on the 'General' page. Some are shown on the 'Exams'-page.

all these are actually bugs with the default skin... I am updating it a bit, as well as working on a little tutorial on using the POOM stuff.

I spent about 3 hours late last night tackling the POOM section of TodayPlus version 0.9.1. I went through everything srs had in his included config and skin files. I've been able to make sense of about 80% of it now. I finally got TP to display my agenda in a layout I prefer, similar to the layout I use with tAgenda.

I really liked this skin, rgb08

I took it and modified it a bit to tie in the calendar to the poom.

the only other change I would suggest is not to have a full refresh for every button, as this would slow it down a bit.

I will attach my modified version below.

srs, how would you like to handle the distribution of this document? I can continue to post it here if you have no objections (and tag it as unofficial), or would you rather maintain control of the documentation. Please let me know.

I have no objection to you continuing to maintain it. Also no need to tag it as unofficial or anything, as when I see something wrong I will just correct it (or you could probably send me a copy to check before posting)

EDIT: srs, I noticed you removed the actions 40 and 41 from the button command. Was this intentional?

a) in the POOM section, is it possible to show today's date as "Today" instead of showing the day?

b) a friend of mine is using only the calendar, tasks and launcher. He has very sensitive information on his ppc and doesn't want Today+ to try to connect to the web everytime. How can I help him prevent that TodayPlus doesn't try to connect at all, never?

removing all the rss, and city, from the config should do it.

Installed 0.9.3, updates seem better, but the memory leak is becoming a puddle. Whereas before it was a meg or two over the course of my day, it's now4 meg, and seems to take it's biggest hit after the first refresh ( after a soft reset ).

are you sure that TodayPlus is the problem ? During a refresh it will take up more memory, but after it is done, the memory usage should go back to normal.

At the time TodayPlus was the only plugin being used. Noting that you believe you've sealed the leaks, I'll spend the next few days double checking, if it continues I'll post some screen captures with time labeled examples...

Ive felt in your comment that you resent the fact ppl are forgeting this is a beta test. I understand you and I like to work this way on this kind of internet project also, even if professionaly I would follow the track described by Brightlight. I know this part is difficult because most of us are expecting new and consolidated stuff, while you completly rewrited your plugin, thus restarting the beta test from scratch.

Anyway, I feel this version and documentation is pretty good regarding fonctionality adn understanding. I could more easily understand and modify my skin. As you cannot change region from number to a name, maybe we could all setup on a norm about what region is what effect, at least the common skins, so we can copy paste regions inbetween them.

I've also remarked a memory leak, just by leaving my ppc open on the cradle. If I put it in the cradle the out the on the cradle again, I will lose some memory space until I eventualy soft reset it. (240 K each time) I don't know what to try to help you on this.

Also, I seem to have problem displaying task, even if my config taskfilter is taskfilter,0,90,[overdue],

I have an overdue task that wont display even on outlook,2,1,238,66,0,%var8% where var8 is the new buffer. Appt displays fine in this configuration. Is the instrcution blocking in some way?
