E-mail via Bluetooth
Setup:
e755 with Socket kit and the Nokia 6310i
Well, I've got the bluetooth humming and can connect automatically. (All I need to do is tap dial when the menu pops up after connection to phone is established if needed).
Anyway, I can pull down all my mail from the pop server w/o a problem, but I keep getting error messages on my replies or new sends. Something along the lines of recipient rejected.
No problem surfing and sending via yahoo mail.
Any Ideas?
THanks
Scho

Which app are you using?
Have you tried nPop (don't remember link, you'll have to google it)? It's pretty good app for pop3 email and-best of all-it's freeware!

Sounds like a mail relay problem.
Are you connecting to the same ISP via your phone that hosts your mail? Most ISPs over here in the UK will allow you to collect your mail via a different ISP connection, but will not allow you to send messages unless you are connecting via their network. This would also explain why Yahoo/Hotmail etc work fine.
Hope this helps..Current: Dell Axim X51v

Actualy I have exactly the same problem when trying to send email using my freeserve account from here in Greece.
Unfortunately, if that's the case, there's no way around it: you cannot use their SMTP from a different network. You will either have to use their network, or create another email account.

Actually
I'm connecting to my corporate POP server via the gprs network and bluetooth.
From home I send and receive on the PPC over my wireless broadband connection w/o a problem.

nPop works
Well for some reason, nPop works over my bluetooth connection where PocketOutlook did not. It just doesn't make sense to me that PO functions great via wifi but I need nPOP if I want to go via bluetooth.
Now If I could just get my nPOP to read japanese.
