iPAQ 1910 or Dell Axim
I currently have an Ipaq 3630 with a Silver Slider two and a 128mb CF card storing most of my information. I really like the screen, and I still think it is a fairly fast pda despite running at 206mhz. However, I want to upgrade and get a newer better PPC. I definitely don't want to go the Palm route as before getting my 3630 I had an m105 and hated it.
THe 5450 is out of my price range and half the features it contains (like fingerprint scanner) I don't need and so I am looking to get a new budget pda. I stuck between choosing the Dell Axim and ipaq 1910. One the one hand there is the faster speed, two slots (I'll be able to use my CF card) and the reduced price of the Axim but on the other there is the great looks and compact size of the 1910. Which should I go for. I personally think the Axim is butt ugly but how good is its screen when compared to the 1910. Also, many people say it is bulky. How bulky is it when compared to the ipaq 3630 with Silver slider sleeve on the back, which fits in my jacket pocket ok.
Also how does the speed of the 1910 compare to my existing ipaq? And, if I were to get the AXim should I get the Basic or advanced version (?187 and ?257 respectively). Is there really that much of a difference betweeen the speed of 300 vs 400. (Less storage RAM doesn't bother me, only if it affects the speed a lot. Iam also not bothered by the fact that if I go for basic version I would be able to upgrade the OS (PPC2000 is fine!))
Finally, if I were to get the Axim would I be able to get the mail in rebate here in the UK.I like pictures.

yah... read over the above thread.
Anyway, about Overclocking, the axim adv can goto 500 MHz, while the basic can got to 400MHz.
However, the 1910 can be OCed to 333Mhz w/ a 165MHz bus, making it faster than the others. However, battery life suffers even more than the already not-so-good life the 1910 has. Probably not as bad as your 3600 though
