PCExpo - Security
The security at this year's PCExpo has been stepped way up. It will make the lines longer and there will be spot checks inside that will be an inconvenience. But to tell you the truth I was real happy to hear about this and support it 100%. Be prepared though. Bring a picture ID and leave the backpacks and wheeled cases home. For those of you who live to fill shopping bags with show junk - save that for some other show!

LOL - we move in different circles. This is the only way I get to see the hot stuff and when I get a screwdriver at Javits I have to pay for it!

OK, here's a (sexist) tip for the show: when the manufacturer's rep offers you a screwdriver, don't be bashfull about taking more than one. Most of the "presenters" at trade shows, float from one show to another. Shows like PC Expo are probably one of the few times that they are asked for extra "toys" more often than they are asked for their phone numbers... Expecting something else entirely, they're more willing to hand over the vendor's merchandise, rather than their own....
