Hey Heza, your pic of QMail looks mighty fine!Originally posted by hezahonker
Yep, just downloaded because there was a new update the other day and this app is fabulous. Sorry to say my npop days are over. This app has more configuration than you can shake a stick at! Here's a screen shot.
How come when I downloaded and installed v. 2.9x I can't get it to look like yours?
No graphic interface like yours.
My accounts are separated big-time:
One IN
OUT
This
That
Other
Two IN
OUT
This
That
Other
etc.
Just to check each account for new mail is a chore!
Many other problems too including freezing.
What version are you using now?

EricG,
I am running Version 2.9.17.2383 which is the latest. (I don't think there have been updates lately
).
Anyhow, can you post your screenshot for me? Sounds like you may have a wrong processor version. Are you certain you have your correct processor version?

I would post a screenshot if I had software to accomplish this.
The only one I have that I've seen mention screen shot is Pocket Informant, but don't know how to use it with an external app.
Before Qmail has even *fully loaded* I'm always greeted with this happy note:
> This mail folder is locked by 'Pocket PC'. Would you like to continue? <
That's a warm and fuzzy note eh?
I have the following processor version.
q3u-ppc2003se-armv4-ja-2_9_17_2462-20051005
Is that the right one?

It's the right version if you are running window mobile 2003SE.
The locked message is normal. I get that too. I am not sure why that is. I need to ask the developer why that happens. I know he once told me to exit the app before I turn off my device to avoid problems.
All in all this program is not that buggy in that you have gibberish on your screen. That is just plain weird.
When you say you have no graphics you mean the little folder icons in my screen shot?
BTW, if you are looking for a way to capture your screen there are many freebees out there.
Download this one and see if you can post a screen for me. All you have to do is capture the image and it will save to your documents folder of the device. Sync with your pc...if you are posting from the pc. Then when you attach your photo when you post browse to your pocket pc sync folder on your pc and attach.

Hmmmm. Wonder why. Works for me. Did you find a screen capture with Hendrixus' link?

Are you then not using active sync at all? If so are you loading your applications on via wifi over the web? If so I am sure we could locate a cab of a screen capture app somewhere.
One thing I would suggest is to back up your profiles folder and your accounts folders. Then unistall and reinstall Qmail and see if that helps. I am running mine from my storage card with no problem. you want to make sure that your program folder is not the place where you put your settings folders ...ie the accounts, profiles, script, security etc... when you installed the program you where asked where you wanted to put these folders. If you istalled them within the qmail program folder this may be your problem. The developer had told me in the past not to do this.
