I have an HP340 it works great. Canon makes BJC50 and BJC85 they are both very good. If you have a Staples or Futureshop in your area you can check them out there.

I have a HP 340 also, however I can't get it to print. How are you connecting and what software do you use ?
Thanks

PrintPocketCE or something like that. Eventually I'll get around to getting a Canon. It seems like everyone likes them pretty much. FieldSoftware seem to be the folks with the best printing options for IrDA.
Btw; WAIT FOR IT! So, in anticipation, happy almost-Canada Day.

As Gerard mentioned you need software such as printpocket ce. Fieldsoft have a couple others that are very good also.
I assume you have an IR attachment on your printer since the HP340 does not have built in IR capability.

I bought a Canon BJC 85 it should be here any time I will let you know how they compare.

I don't see the hp 340 listed as compatable.
Paragon, what do you use for ir ?

I bought an IR device that plugs in to the serial port. HP model #C3277A. I bought it from Compusmart. I think it was about $75.00 CAN.Originally posted by canuck

It is compatible with Feildsoft software. The last time I looked it was on their list. Tim Feild posted here once that he preferred the Hp340 printer.
