LOL...I had my GF with me too....but I was the one flirting with the lady behind the counter.Originally posted by bd2003
Got a J525 for $128 total. My gf flirted with the CSR, and he didnt notice that he deducted the $100 twice, not to mention adding a $40 coupon on top of that.
I picked up an HP 548 for $249 after she applied another $100 discount to the already discounted price. Woohoo!!!
On top of thay..I got a 100 pack PNY CDR for $40 - $13 instant rebate - $20 mail in rebate... for $7!!!
Would be lying if I didn't tell you that I am still grinning from that experience.
Now my IPaq has a friend and they are getting along just fine. Really starting the like the HP form factor. Too bad I'll have to give it up to my Dad (whom I bought it for) this weekend when I go visit.

Staples IS having a problem with the coupon for the free Targus keyboard. I talked to someone on the phone and also a live chat. The live chat guy (Tommy) tells me that Staples will NOT honor both coupons. When I referred him to this discusssion board and the reports here that people had gotten both discounts, he said it was probably an error on Staples's part.
Has anyone successfully had a Jornada 548 delivered from Staples along with the Targus keyboard and had both coupons (11284, 80850) credited?
When I talked to someine in a chat yesterday afternoon, there was no mention of the 1 coupon per Jornada.Steve

I stopped by Staples today and picked up a 525 for my wife. I'm thinking that $259 is probably the lowest price I have ever paid for a handheld. However, I am willing to see the prices go lower!

I just returned a Palm m505 to Staples and got the Jornada 548 for $350 and the Targus portable keyboard for free. Not only did they take both of those coupon codes, but they also took one that I found on the web for $40. $310 for the Jornada 548 and a free keyboard is a damn good deal. I could'nt justify buying the iPaq for around $200 more when this is mainly going to be a pda for work. Plus I think the case of the HP is superior to any handheld device I have ever used.
