    Thumbs down

I am familiar with the policy of giving business the chance to settle problems outside the public eye first, but I just paid $20 for some software that I probably wouldn't have if I had known the bugs it contains. First of all when playing Black Jack, an Ace (apparently depending on when it is dealt) is valued at 11 only, so getting a 2-Q-A will bust you with 23, when you actually should only have 13. This makes enjoying blackjack nearly impossible (and BJ is the main reason I bought the software). Also, if my iPaq powers down while the program is still running (either manually or timing out) then when I power it back on, I have a solid white screen and the only way to get rid of it is resetting my iPaq. Keep in mind I've had this software less than 24 hours it's possible there are other as yet undiscovered bugs also... I'm very upset that they released the program with such blatent problems an I have asked them for a refund.

Man that is one big bug! I wonder how that got by QA? I was considering buying this game but I think I will wait for some more bug fixes. That bug with the ace would just kill all of the fun.

I've experienced the exact same problems, I hope Zio can correct this quickly, because without that this is an outstanding game.

You get the solid white screen also? Do you have an iPaq or another pocket PC?

    Remember boys and girls...

Stay away from gambling. It's an addictive and dangerous habit and you could end up like these poor folks in this thread.

Tomorrow, well talk about tobacco and cigarettes so stay tuned!

I'm getting the same problem. I am sure that Zio will issue a fix ASAP... and will e-mail us registered users with new download links (obviously I am an eternal optimist)

    Thumbs up Fix Probably Coming

Zio Interactive are sure to release a fix for that. They have always provided stable software in the past, and it comes as a surprise to me that one of their titles would have significant bugs.

I'm pretty amazed by all of the errors in this game. And to think I laid out 20 bucks for what is obviously a beta version:

    1. The aforementioned blackjack error
    2. No Odds in Craps - WTF?
    3. No seemingly easy way to take down bets in Craps
    4. Improper Payback on Video Poker - I bet $5.00 (5 coins) and won $30 on a high pair and $80.00 on two pair. This should have been $5.00 & $10.00 according to the pay schedule.
    5. Improper payback in Carribean Stud when the dealer doesn't qualify. I should only be paid for my ante, but the game pays you for your bet anyway. (Too bad Vegas doesn't work like this).

I have only spent about 10 mins with this so far and already discovered all of these errors, it makes me wonder what I'll find if I spend more time with it.

The game looks great and I like the concept, but the implementation needs a lot of work, especially for a $20.00 commercial game.

I wouldn't mind if the cards where a bit bigger/clearer either. This is on my E115, so I know the picture quality is good.

Default Larger Numbers on BJ Cards?

Ziosoft should also consider making the numbers on the blackjack cards slightly larger. At times, it's very difficult to tell which card you have been dealt.
