I haven't seen any threads on stylus lately, I know there's new ones out all the time. I'm looking for something multi-functional that looks good and preferably with little or no "rattle". What's everyone using these days other than the OEM stylus?

Actually I use three (in order of preference):

Lamy dual point. No rattling, no rolling. It has a ballpoint and a stylus. Available in silver and matte black (which is very nice to the touch). Can you tell I like this one?

Rotring 4-in-one. Shakes, rattles and rolls. It has a ballpoint in black, blue, red, and a pencil. You can change one of the colored pens with a stylus.

    Both bought at www.styluscentral.com

Throttle Slimpoint. A very small stylus/pen combo. From Eric's www.smaller.com . Thanks, Ray.... It works like magic, esp. since I lost my Jornada stylus. It must be hiding in one of my files. Sigh.

    I use a Harvard 2 in one...

Stylus tip, and 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil.

No rattles, rather smooth, and fairly nice form factor.

I use a couple depending where I am at. A pentopia on the road, A PhD at work, A cross and an Oak pen with a cross insert at home. All do well, The cross feels like writing on paper but is too soft a touch for the ipaq and I get the stray shooting lines at various times. The hard and smooth points of the PhD and pentopia work very well.

    OK...
i use a 'home made' stylus... cheaper!

    1. Find an old "fine point" felt tip pen at home

    2. Take out the ink and dip de point in alcohol (the necesary time for cleaning it)

    3. When it be dry, you will have a perfect soft stylus, and more accuracy than an OEM plastic 'big point' stylus

    (Sorry my bad english)

Platinum Pen tri-function (model unknown) no rattle and super thin size (size is like a regular pen NOT the super thick pen/pencil/stylus combos).

I have used a ton of others and stopped with the Cross Morph DuoWriter. This is one cool pen and compliments the look of my iPaq! The pen writes beautifully and I just need to flip it around to use the stylus-excellent!
