Default Shopping list/check list program needed

I used to use ListMaker on my m515 which was a great piece of but it doesn't work on my LifeDrive and I can't find an update for it. I liked having a 'master list' of items to pick from for my shopping list, also the ability to group the items within a list under headings.

Does anyone know any freeware or cheap software for managing checklists that has these features?

    Many thanks
    Lisa

I would be seriously lost without HandyShopper. I have over 500 items defined. I shop at 3 different grocers, 2 different home improvement supper stores and 2 different drug stores. They all sell light bulbs and I have defined all their different aisle locations so the list sorts correctly for each store.

One of my most relied upon apps, during the week when I run out of something, whip out my LD and click the item. In any of the stores, just whip out my LD to see what needs to be purchased.

No more embarrassing moments when the wife asks, 'honey, did you remember to buy such-n-such?'

I really can not imagine such a great program still being free, the author could have made millions.

I'm with Josser - I can't believe HS is still free! I use it for a myriad of things, not just "traditional shopping lists." I have db-like lists set up for vehicle info, "inventory" type lists, some "specialized" to-do lists, all sorts of things. HS is one of the apps that I use on an almost daily basis for a variety of things. And it's FREE! There is also a pretty good Yahoo! group that is worth checking out...

Love HandyShopper! I use it extensively. I own Checklist, but ended up taking off to save space, since I never used it. You should really check it out. The developer is great at keeping it updated, it's free, it's easy to use. I would PAY for this program, but I LOVE the fact that it's FREE!!

As far as I can see Handyshopper has neither of these features - though I may not have found them yet and I will ask on the Handyshopper yahoo group for.

    Any other recommendations?

Think of the store aisles as headings.

...and HandyShopper definitely handles the "Master List" very well, too.

With a bit of curiosity and patience, you will find the many features available in HandyShopper. And with some creativity, you can find MANY uses for it.

I like Splashshopper. Has the master list of everything from groceries to movies, dvds, etc. It costs about 30$ (I think) but I like it. I haven't tried handyshopper.
FYI - Splashshopper works very well on the LD.

My wife and I use handyshopper for everything! Database of gifts bought for xmas each year, plus gifts received. As far as groceries, I have a huge database that I think I would cry if it was lost somehow! I sort my grocs by category as I don't always go to the same store and have started to use the "store"option for recipes. That way I can go in,select a certain recipe and know what I need to have to make it. I don't know if there is an HS limit to stores, I so far have thanksgiving (doubles as xmasdinner too), anda few dishes we make a lot. I still can't belive it is free.
