Tungsten E & Windows 2000Pro Hot-Sync problem
I just got a new Tungsten E and can't get it to Hot-Sync. I have installed the desktop Software and I did get an error message that read "Error Starting TCP Listen". Other than this, it seemed to install just fine. When I Hot-Sync for the first time, the box comes up to ask your name. I highlight it and click OK. This is where things go bad. There is a beep on the handheld and it tells me the link has been interrupted and some items may not have been backed-up. Any thoughts on the cause and possible solutions? By the way, I am running Windows 2000 Pro. Thanks!

Have you gone to PalmOne's support knowledge base and searched on windows 2000? There are a number of articles on configuring your desktop depending on whether you are USB, serial, IR, network, etc. which we don't know based on your post.DT Lives in SFO...away from flying objects.
