Tungsten E & Windows 2000Pro Hot-Sync problem
I just got a new Tungsten E and can't get it to Hot-Sync. I have installed the desktop Software and I did get an error message that read "Error Starting TCP Listen". Other than this, it seemed to install just fine. When I Hot-Sync for the first time, the box comes up to ask your name. I highlight it and click OK. This is where things go bad. There is a beep on the handheld and it tells me the link has been interrupted and some items may not have been backed-up. Any thoughts on the cause and possible solutions? By the way, I am running Windows 2000 Pro. Thanks!

Have you gone to PalmOne's support knowledge base and searched on windows 2000? There are a number of articles on configuring your desktop depending on whether you are USB, serial, IR, network, etc. which we don't know based on your post.
