syncing with Mac and Windows
Hi
I am about to get a personal assistant with a Windows machine (because all the admin use PeopleSoft -- a long story). I use my Palm m515 and sync with a mac 12" PB with Chronos Personal Organiser. I was wondering if I could install the Windows Palm Desktop on the Windows machine and sync with that as well so that the P/A could keep a copy of my diary and also update it.
In the past I have tried syncing both to my laptop and my desktop and it usually ended up with duplicates so I am nervous about syncing to another machine.
Finally I understand that Windows Palm software supports network syncs. Does that mean I could put my Palm on the internet with missingSync on my laptop and sync to the Windows machine (assuming I can get around the work firewall) or is this only a lan thing?
Thanks - Michael
PS: Noticed someone else asked this but they got no replies so I will try again.
