Compass

Can anyone tell me if there is a program for my T/E that is a compass? I am going camping sometime soon and wouldn't mind to have my palm be a compass for me. Is that possible?

If anyone has a program they have tried and it is a compass please post it here.

The program SunAngle has a sun compass feature. Once you get your location data and the time set up, when you access that part of the program you get a circle with the word "Sun" and an arrow that points to north. Point the word "Sun" at the sun and the arrow points north. Not tremendously accurate, but since the TE doesn't have any kind of magnetic sensing apparatus inside (maybe the TE3 will ), it's the best I can do.

There is an old program called SunCompass (I think) that only works during the day as it uses the Sun as a reference. Planetarium has an excellent compass, but is fairly expensive and geared toward astronomy.

Go to PalmGear and do a search on "compass". There isn't much out there.
You could buy a good Silva or Brunston also

I will look those over and do so more searching. If all else fails I'll just a regular compass...
