Anyone use Dateman instead of Datebk5 or Agendus?

When I created a reoccuring event and then tried to modify the description for a single occurance it deleted the appt. for that day instead of modifying it. Standalone might of not gotten back to you because it is a bug. They should have at least confirmed your email.

I'll email them too. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

LMari, thanks for confirming the bug. Do you use coloring of appointments, either the text itself or hi-lighting with a back ground color? I'm having some issues there as stated in my post above.

I'll resend my email to Stand Alone and hope for a response. Once again many thanks for your assistance.

I use a color for the text but no background color. I emailed StandAlone about the bug. I'll post if I hear anything from them.

I also entered a reoccuring event and then edited a date. The item was deleted for the day and entered for todays date.

Cool thanks again, I resent my original email with additional data. I'll let you know if I hear back. I'm getting comfortable with the software, so hopefully my issues will be resolved.

I'm having another issue with DateMan. Only one icon will show up for each day in the month of May '04. Any other month several icons will show for a day. Can you see what happens when you put two icons on two events for the same day in May.

DateMan replied to me that they haven't been able to replicate this problem. I never got a response on the other issue.

Yes, I can replicate your May issue. I placed two icons on two different events for the same day in May, but only one icon shows in the month icon view.

On my other issues, I did receive a reply to my second email, but it was basically, we will look into it and when we verify and fix we will send you a bug fix release.

At this point I'm going to go back to Agendus 6, but will check out the next versions of Dateman to see if there is improvement.
