Default Palm can't sync since 10.3.2 upgrade

Since upgrading from OS 10.3.1 to 10.3.2, I can no longer HotSync with my Palm. When I try, sometimes the window closes on my Mac, with the
Palm saying "Identifying User." Sometimes, I get an "Unknown error 16385" on the Mac. At other times, it will get to iSync, but then stop with the messages below in the log.

I've already tried performing the following steps:
    - Hard-reset my Palm
    - Deleted everything related to Palm, HotSync, and iSync on my system
    - Re-installed Palm Desktop 4.1
    - Re-installed iSync 1.3
    - Re-installed iSync 1.2 Palm Conduit
    - Ran Disk Utility to repair my permissions

I also tried it without iSync, just using the standard Palm conduits, but it still didn't work. Can anyone help?
    Jacob

    The logs look like this:

Hello jacobweber, welcome to Brighthand! I hope you enjoy our community here.

I have not seen this before, but my initial guess is that it is possible that iSync may have become corrupted.

Try searching for and deleting the following files:

    com.palm.HS*
    com.apple.iSync

and any other iSync files in your ~/Library/Preferences folder.

    Let us know what happens.

    Shawn,
Actually, before I re-installed, I deleted all my preference files, including those you listed. My guess is that it's not related to iSync, since I tried removing the iSync conduit and I still had the problem.
    Thanks,
    Jacob

Well, since this is so much fun, I decided to try it all again, incorporating some new suggestions I've received along the way. Here's what I did:

    - Removed almost everything with the words "Palm," "Sync," and "iSync".
    - Repaired permissions, restarted
    - Logged in as root
    - Installed Palm Desktop 4.1
    - Restarted, logged in as normal user
    - Plugged the USB cradle directly into my Mac, instead of into a USB hub
    - Synced; worked
    - Installed iSync and iSync Palm Conduit 1.2
    - Repaired permissions, restarted
    - Synced; worked
    - Installed Vindigo
    - Synced; now it consistently quits about two seconds into the Vindigo conduit, saying the connection was interrupted.
    - I tried setting the connection speed on the Palm to run slower, but this didn't help.

No matter what I do, something keeps causing it to fail. This setup worked almost flawlessly before, but with the Palm's vague messages, I have no way to diagnose what's wrong.

Well, it seems the problem springs up after installing Vindigo. Have you tried contacting their support to see if they know of any issues?
