noob question... SD cards
i am planning on buying a palm for christmas... my question is, if i get SD cards to store MP3s on, do i need to buy some sort of SD read/write device for my PC or can i write directly to the SD card through my palm?

Although you can move files to your expansion card via Hotsync, it's not the best idea when the files in question are large (as in the case of MP3s). I advise you to get an SD card read/write device for loading your MP3s.

You can save them to the desktop and then hotsynch them to your Palm, but it can be much faster to use a read/writer. I'd format the card in my Palm and install at least 1 file with hotsynch to be sure where the Palm wants it to go first.
