palm OS just lost 1 year's worth of entries!!!
I use Palm OS on my Mac. I realize this is outdated software, but I like it better than Outlook. I've had no issues previously. I went to get something to eat, came back to my computer and everything I had entered in the last year is now gone. Any way to recover my calendar, memos, to-do's and contacts?

Welcome to Brighthand, palmuser406.
I'm sorry for the circumstances that brought you here.
Could you please post some more details explaining what happened? I am not a Mac user but many here are and it would be easier for them to assist you if they had a more complete picture to work with. Had you recently synced your data? Did you leave your computer with Palm Desktop open? It is always recommended that users Save from the menu whenever you are leaving or closing Palm Desktop in order to preserve all contents contained therein. Have you checked that ALL category is chosen from the dropdown menu? Could your entries have been accidentally archived mistakenly? These are just a few things to check while waiting for other Mac users to read your post.
The forum is slower on the weekend and it may be a brief while before you have any more responses so do not give up hope.Last edited by lelisa13p; 08-21-2011 at 12:31 AM.

Re: palm OS just lost 1 year's worth of entries!!!
What else occurred while you were away for that sandwich?
I use Palm Desktop on a Windows XP platform and only lost data once when I forgot to save and lost power, yet anytime I have closed my desktop properly data has not vanished.
On a MAC I do not think it is much different, but do remember the Palm Desktop is not identical to the Win version.
Archive is a possibility as lelisa13p mentions, since it is a specific period you indicate is missing.Welcome to Brighthand

Before you lose any more, I would go in Palm Desktop and export what you have. I did this when I migrated to a BB. I exported from Palm Desktop and imported to address book, ical, etc. It all came over just fine. I could take a look but now that I run Lion, I can't even run Palm Desktop which is a PPC application. I suppose I could install it on my old G4 and see what it looks like to see if I can spot any options to recover data. If I get a chance to do it, I'll come back and post. Until then, back up what you have before anything else is lost!
