Default Anyone using 2GB SD card in Palm E2?

I have recently "discovered" the convenience of using my Palm to play MP3 files while I travel. I've installed PocketTunes, and am using 1GB SD cards.

I would like to use larger SD cards, and to that end I've downloaded and installed the FAT32 driver from this site http://www.palmpowerups.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2, but it still doesn't recognise a 2GB SD card I bought -- reporting "No card inserted" when I click on the Card Info icon. If I click on the PpDriverL... icon that the download installed, it reports "Error: FAT32 is already installed", so I presume the installation is okay. The card works okay on my PC, and was quick-formatted there as FAT32 -- I've subsequently re-formatted it FAT, but it still isn't recognised in the E2.

Another user of this forum suggested I try PowerSDHC, but before I possibly waste money on that, I'd like to hear from anyone who's successfully used 2GB (or bigger) cards in an E2. If so, how do you do it please?

My E2 reports Palm OS Garnet v.5.4.7.

without the Palmpowerups SDHC driver, the E2 is limited to a 1Gb SD memory card; see FAQ: Maximum SD card size for Palm / PalmOne handhelds.

I have purchased the SDHC driver, for use in my TX; well worth the $20.95, imo. and with adapters, you aren't forced to use a full-sized SDHC card -- I have microSDHC cards.
