Sync to multiple PIMs
Who knows of a piece of software that will allow me to sync my palm to multiple PIM software packages, we have a situation where one part of our business uses meeting maker and the other uses Outlook.
Starfish used to disti their sync tool that did this great, but now it seems to be gone.
Thanks

Do you mean that you want to sync your Datebook to one PIM and your Address Book to a different PIM? Or do you want to simultaneously sync your Datebook (for example) with both Meeting Maker and Outlook?

I have observed that when you install the MeetingMaker 6.x.x Date book conduit, that the default Palm Date book conduit is removed. This is probably for a good reason.
Before continuing, I would myself if it is important to my job function to try to implement this kind of solution. You could be asking for a good amount of data corruption.
There is a newer version of MeetingMaker available, version 7.1, but my company has not yet upgraded.
Before starting, you may want to keep a backup copy of your C:\Palm\<user name> directory.

I agree with AlanG. As far as I know, there aren't any conduits that are smart enough to resolve conflicts when syncing with multiple PIMs. You are likely to end up with either corrupt or lost data. If I were you, I would probably set up a batch file or a scheduled task in Windows to export the data from one PIM and import it to the other at whatever time interval makes most sense.

Appreciate the replies, but I am still interested in this. Trusync from Starfish did an excellent job of this, but I have not seen it available on the market solo for awhile.

Can you do it on separate PC's, or can you do it on separate Windows logins? It means extra HotSyncs, but it may be your only option.

Syncronize Meeting Maker Calendar without address book
Has anyone been able to syncronize the meeting maker calendar only? I don't like the Meeting Maker Address book but the Palm address book option seems to be overwritten when Meeting Maker is substituted for the Date book.
