Question Syncing with ACT 2000/ ACT 5.0.4 and Palm m500

I just started to use ACT2000/5.0.4 as a PIM. My dB resides on the palm and I'm transferring into ACT. I downloaded the Palm Link Software from their site and the sync worked EXCEPT all my phone numbers and e-mail addresses are all out of whack. It appears that ACT just maps the 5 physical positions on the Palm handheld and brings them into ACT. It assumes you used the default positions (1. Work, 2. Home, 3. fax, 4. other, 5. e-mail) The Palm Handheld lets you assign differnt titles to each position (example you could have Work, Mobile, Fax, Fax, E-mail for one person and mobile, Home, Fax, Fax for another person). When I used to use DataViz to sync my palm with Outlook it could map all the differnt phone numbers and faxes and keep track of them. I can't imagine that ACT would limit me to only 5 numbers per contact.

Does anyone know of a better sync SW that will allow me to use the full functioanlity of the Phone/Fax/E-mail fields in both ACT and the palm?

    Default

I don't have any personal experience with either of these, but two other options for ACT! are Pylon Pro and Intellisync.
