Getting ACT! 4.0 contact list from PC into new Palm Vx?
How do I get my existing PC ACT! 4.0 contact list into my Palm Vx? I have downloaded the sync from the ACT! web site but it requires a $100 upgrade to ACT! 2000. Has anyone done this without upgrading to ACT! 2000?

Does Act! offer any 'standard' export options (.csv, for instance)? If so, you may be able to import the data into the Palm desktop. This will not give you the ability to synchronize the data, but at least you can import it.
Beyond that, you'll need to look at some of the "Swiss Army Knife" conduit toolkits, like XTNDConnect. It purports to connect Palm OS PDAs to, among other desktop PIMs, Act!Steven G. Tyler, Esq.
