Re: 1800mah iQue Battery with Plug & Tools
The anode? That's the negatively charged electrode in a cell.

Re: 1800mah iQue Battery with Plug & Tools
Actually, it's quite the opposite. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, anode is defined as:

Now don't get this confused with the FLOW of the actual electrons, which is from cathode to anode WITHIN the cell but from anode to cathode outside of the cell.
While this may be a bit confusing (especially for first year electronics students), it makes sense if you think about it, no??
...and from Whatisit?.com, the following:
In a DC circuit, electrons emerge from the negative, or minus, pole and move towards the positive, or plus, pole. Nevertheless, physicists define DC as traveling from plus to minus.
Now are you confused??

Re: 1800mah iQue Battery with Plug & Tools
Well, the next question is....how do you take the anode off? Do you mean unplug it from the iQue? I'm talking about not even installing it until I need it.

No unplugging. The anode is inside the battery, so open it and take it out. Store it in a waterproof environment and put it back if the moment comes. Seal it to prevent acid leaking.

Are there any more in your stock, and if not how long will it take you to resupply?
This is not an emergency by any means, but the signs are clear...

Just got my battery and installed it. Everything seems to work fine! I followed your excellent instructions with no significant problems.
