Trying to get an old Palm Pilot bak to life.
Hello,
I have a Palm Pilot, whose digitizer is broken but the LCD is working. Also,I have a bricked Tungsten T3(been washed in a washing machine),and it's screen looks OK. I am thinking of removing T3's digitizer and transplanting it into the Pilot. So,my question is,is it possible? And also,I heard somewhere that the digitizers could be cropped without damaging them,is it true? I had a quick look into both units' internals and both of the digitizers had a 4-pin connector, they differed in size actually, but it's not a big problem if they are electronically compatible, a little solder can do the trick.
Thanks.

iikushan, sorry to post this. The Palm Pilot's screen and digitizer are of different sizes. So you can try, but chances are it's not gonna work. Please, take a dive in the fora, especially in the TX sub-forum, and you're gonna find several threads on the subject of screens and digitizers. They could come in handy to you.
