Re: Odd Question
Ok another odd question...
I've been trying to clear my PIE temp folder. Here's the problem. I can't get rid of 1.4mb of it!
ClearTemp sees it but can't get rid of it.
pmClean doesn't even see it.
IETools will act like it's getting rid of it but it doesn't.
Trying to remove it directly from PIE has same effect.
It's Windows\Profiles\guest\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat
Now I know this file is probably supposed to be there, but not THIS big. I've never had this issue until the last couple days. I can't just delete the file, tried that. I just can't get it to be under the 300 or so kb it usually is. Suggestions?Cradle? Who needs a cradle?

Re: Odd Question
Lynx,
Havn't tried specifically, but usually find that Resco File Explorer deals with most such things.
One other thought is to ensure that PIE is not running in background when you try to delete - if the file is 'open' then it won't get deleted. Sodt reset first is worth a try.

Re: Odd Question
Kevin: tried that from the get-go and no luck. Resco costs too much last I saw.
Follick: tried it, don't work!Cradle? Who needs a cradle?

Re: Odd Question
Totalcommander is a free equivalent of Resco, although I use and like Resco better.
