    Default PowerPoint

Anyone got any ideas? When I transfer PPT files to the pocket pc they come in as PPV extensions and seem to be unreadable to either the ATI application or ClearVue? It used to work, is it possible it's 3.7.1 (e800 came with 3.7)?

    Thanks.

I suspect You have to switch off the automatic conversion in Activesync.

    1. Open Activesync
    2. Go to Tools/Options
    3. Select Rules tab, and click on 'Conversion settings' button in the middle.
    4. Select 'Desktop to device' tab
    5. Browse down to line 'Microsoft powerpoint presentation'.
    6. Click Edit, and the select 'No conversion' from the dropdown list next to type.

    I think that's it.

Jarbi, that's exactly the way. Something I have discovered is that whenever I update ActiveSync, I need to recheck the settings for any existing partnerships as several things (including, it seems, all the conversions I have shut off) are reset to their defaults and need to be changed again.
