Well I can confirm the CD DOES exist. I just received a copy from Toshiba Tech Support (thanks Toshiba!).

New things:
1. 2003 upgrade
2. Some extra MS PocketPC games (Minesweeper, Hearts & Reversi) - I didn't bother installing these
3. Newer versions of ATI Presenter & Mirror (still v. 2.10 & 2.01 respectively but newer builds: 12334 for both vs. 11455 & 11584 for PPC2002 E755 versions)
4. Wireless projector software (as seen on Toshiba's download site)

I've already flashed my E755 w/ PPC2003 via the "guru thread" so I didn't bother redoing it.

Apparently, HP's CD, for the upgrade won't be ready till October, 2003!

So, maybe we are being a little bit too hard on Tosihiba, with this one. I am also in the waiting mode for my CD, time will tell, I guess.

Sure is frustrating though. You would think these guys would have ramped up for these CDs, before WM2K3 was even released to the public. I guess they hope we will get so frustrated we will just buy another machine, with it pre-installed.

I don't mind the delay that much: at least I know it exists. I'm thinking about holding off on upgrading until some key apps/drivers are updated to WM 2003 in any case.

i talked with hp today they said mid aug. . but i have goten a diffrent answer every time that i have talked with them.

Funny, soon after I posted, I got the upgrade CD. It was shipped out on 7/22 via Fex Ex, went to the wrong address despite the correct address on the label, and came to me today.

Package is in a padded envelope and includes the sealed CD and the printed upgrade instructions.

Just curious, have you been to ppcugrade.com lately to check the status of your order? Just wondering if you were still "In Process", or if it changes to "shipped" or something similar..
