Hey Rob,Originally posted by Rob
Just curious, have you been to ppcugrade.com lately to check the status of your order? Just wondering if you were still "In Process", or if it changes to "shipped" or something similar..
You are right on. I just checked, and my status is "in process". The packing slip says that the order was placed June 30th (I did that online on Jun 28th) and shipped via ground mail from Q Media Solutions in Fife, Washington. But the online status is "in process" not "shipped" or "fulfilled" or whatever.

Splendidly that is already officially upgrade on cd but only to users in US. I have bad luck because I bought e755 in Canada and now in Poland I do not have chance on quick getting this

So where is this wireless firmware update that was supposed to be on the CD? The "ROM Guru" thread said that must be applied before going to WM2003.Originally posted by leighj
...New things:
1. 2003 upgrade
2. Some extra MS PocketPC games (Minesweeper, Hearts & Reversi) - I didn't bother installing these
3. Newer versions of ATI Presenter & Mirror (still v. 2.10 & 2.01 respectively but newer builds: 12334 for both vs. 11455 & 11584 for PPC2002 E755 versions)
4. Wireless projector software (as seen on Toshiba's download site)...

Don't see it, unless it's been incorporated into the upgrade flash image.Originally posted by mfa

Yeah I searched the CD from top to bottom but couldn't find any additional files. The rom updater folder just has 4 files:Originally posted by Deep Green

flash.exe (76k)
pdf file (E755 WM2003 instruction manual)
boot.bin 244k
xip.bin 25.2MB
The CD also comes w/ Activesync and MS Outlook - I didn't touch these since I have them installed already.

Just a thought: since the delays seem to across the board, with HP and Dell also affected, I wonder why I got my CD today (not that I'm complaining). I'm not part of a big corporate order or anything like that. And if I recall the threads, I wasn't the first to jump on the online order form.
Anyone else get these CDs other than me and leighj? I wonder if I should hold off on using the CD in case this is a buggy release that was not meant to be sent out yet. Maybe I'm being a bit paranoid, but that's how I survive as a Toshiba PPC owner

What is the ROM number you guys have after the update?
I am wondering, if the delays are due to an updated version of the ROM, say higher than the current 2.0006.0409
Could be another Toshiba "slip in" on us if the ROM turns out to be something like 2.0007.0409.
I am still waiting for mine, and mine was ordered on 6/24! too.

I'll do that in one or two days (still waiting to hear from Targus about driver for WM 2003 for its wireless keyboard). With some replacement batteries coming, it's a good time to try things out - wouldn't worry too much about hard resets or anything. But I'm taking time trying to get the PPC 2002 ROM image in case of an emergency.

ppcupgrade site
When I was reading this thread earlier, I wanted to ask the manner in which you ordered. I think I understand now that both Deep Green and leighj ordered through http://www.ppcupgrade.com with the $15.99 price and not through Toshiba's site with the $50 price for those that bought their e750/e755 before May 23rd. Is this correct? I am certainly hoping so, because I placed my order at ppcupgrade on the June 23rd and have been wondering when it would come through. Hopefully I'll be getting it tomorrow!
