Well I don't see anything on Toshiba's site about it. The disk I recieved with my e740 (new at xmas) doesn't say sp 1, 2 or 3 on it either...odd they wouldn't put a note as to what release it is.

My version under about is 3.0.11171 (build 11178) if that helps any.

hehe how the heck did I miss that? Wait... that is ROM update not Pocket PC 2002 OS service pack!!!

According to this link, SP 3 is included in the ROM update. >> linky

I too have version 3.0.00071 (Build 11178) and I too believe the the link to the Toshiba site posted above to be a ROM update.

Here we go this is more helpful, from the link I gave above >

Identifying if the Service Pack 3 has been Installed

Microsoft did not create a standard way to identify when Service Packs are installed on the Pocket PC 2002. Check and see if Windows Media Player 8.5 is installed (launch Windows Media Player and click on Tools - About). If it is then you have EUU3 installed already. If the EUU3 update has already been installed, you will be asked if you want to install it again.

So, in other words, SP3 was integrated with the ROM update?

    That makes sense.

    Thanks!
