    Default My Mobiler Program?

I have downloaded the my mobiler program to use with my 8525. i can easily control my phone on my computer screen, but can't seem to get it to go to the internet while docked. has anyone else been able to do so? i would like to use my phone to access the web without using company resources.

I don't see much advantage of My Mobiler over ActiveSync and "Internet Sharing"

If you have the data plan, connect your 8525 to your computer. USB cable is most easy. Don't allow ActiveSync to pop up. This issue might be the same with My Mobiler. From programs activate "Internet Sharing"

ok, that works to connect to the internet on the phone, but not for me to see it on my pc screen. that was why i was using my mobiler (to send texts, check outside email on the phone but seeing them on my pc screen). is there a way to do this or perhaps another program that would work better?

    thanks for your help!

I don't know of any advantage of "seeing" your 8525 screen on your laptop while you are accessing the Internet. Using your 8525 as a modem you can point your laptop to your webmail, configure your laptop email program to download email from your pop account, browse the Internet, etc.

Sending text messages is a phone function, not a direct Internet function, though there are various work arounds. I am not a My Mobilier user. I would expect you can use your laptop keyboard to type text messages and send them via your 8525 phone when you are not connected to the Internet.

Could it be that your issue is that you want to simultaneously use Internet and phone functionality?
