WEll my E-125 just came in the mail today . Its great, but I have just a few questions. How do I convert MP3s to wma? How do I convert mpegs to cmf or whatever. The cd came with a few different media players, currently I am using windows media, which ones do you guys prefer? Finally, the most important question that has me dying, HOW DO I CLOSE A PROGRAM? I switch the screen, but I see the other programs are still active. .

You can convert mp3 to wma in no time just using Winamp. It has a built in output converter for the format.

Mpegs to CMF I believe can be converted with one of the utilities that come on the Cassiopeia CD. I have an E-125 also, but haven't bothered using video conversion tools for it yet.

Media player is nice cuz it's already on your machine, and if you get MP7, you can use skins for a customized look. It also supports turning off the screen while listening to music (saves batteries!).

As for closing a program, there are many shareware and freeware programs to allow task management. The main downfall of PocketPC is not being able to close a program.

I use PocketNav, but there is also Wizbar, iBanana, and more than I can think of.

    Enjoy your new toy!

ps: for a temporary fix to open programs, go to start/settings/system/memory/running programs (jeeze). You can end them from there.

thx man, I can live with system blah blah blah to close programs . The windows media that came on my E-125 is fine I guess. With only a 32 CF card (that I got from my dads digital camera ), I probably wont be watching mpegs or cmfs anytime soon. One more thing, I cant find that converting in winamp. I have v2.5(x86) its from oct - 3 1999. Does the newer version have it? Do you know of just a program taht converts mp3s to wmas?

    Joey:

you don't need to convert your mp3s to anything.

use windows media player to play your music.

re .cmf files, if casio video player isn't installed, check the cdrom that came with your unit.

use pockettv - http://wwww.pockettv.com - to view your mpg files. it's free.

speaking of mpg files and cmf files, i've got a ton of movie trailers and tv commercials over at http://www.PocketRocketTV.com. also free.

    JOEY,

You get a task switcher on the Casio CD - it's bSquare. Put it on and voila!

    Cool

Joey2004: You need to create a "My Documents" folder on the CF card. Then you can put your mp3s there.
