Default Thinking of selling my new Audiovox + 256mb cf

    Hi guys,

i just got my new audiovox but it's just not what i expected it to be.
    i just love palm os.
I bought with a 256mb compact flash card.
It's about 5 days old and rarely used
I'm asking for $410 and you would have to pay for shipping.
It's comes with everything (even outlook xp ).

    that's pretty cheap.

    any input is welcome.
    thanks in advance SaxonMan

    Cool

Actually for about $350-$370 you could get a brand new Maestro and 256 MB card from Staples and egghead.com. So it's not a very good deal at all...

Those things? I suppose you mean the Maestro. I love my Maestro: dual slots, small size, quality build, nice screen/sound, just an overall great product, and for only $259 at Staples and CompUSA. Egghead.com has 256 MB CF cards for $83.

I played with one at CompUSA, it's just not for me. It is good for the price though.

I just can't get over the screen size, sound, and feel of the unit. It is small and has a lot to offer, just not for me after having this 3765 for so long.

    Thumbs up

    Yeah.. it really depends...

I've tried almost all palm series and ppc series and found maestro is the best among them. The only negative is the battery life, which I can live with. So, I will use this for at least a year. Today I tested linksys CF-II wireless lan card and it worked great. Free 32mmc is enough for applications.

I too can vouch for the Maestro, it grows on you....I like mine more and more every day. Especially since they fixed the diagonal button issue...Wait is that Tecmo Super Bowl I hear?

    Default Seriously?

Stating the Maestro is excellent for the price is one thing, but stating that the Maestro is the best of the PocketPCs is pretty absurd. This simply isn't true in my opinion.

Yes I'm serious. Every ppc has cons and pros. For example, jornada 568 has great battery, but the screen sensitivity was the worst so I returned it. Ipaq has good screen and good sensitivity but bulky with CF or other devices. E200 looks cheap but has replaceable battery.

Maestro has small form factor with two exp. slots. Good direction pad for gaming. Screen is o.k. So, if I can live with the battery life, it is the best. (I found 32MB is o.k.)

    Just my 2cents.
