Re: Quick Question
Pretty much as long as I have owned it. (dunno bout power point) However, from what I remember you had to have the premium version, as opposed to the default version. Now that BB owns them, not sure going forward. This pretty much goes back to my treo days.

Re: Quick Question
I've had DTG for so many years. I had it on my Palm devices then on my BB and now on my iPhone and iPad though I use it a lot less now that I have Pages and Numbers.

Re: Quick Question
Geez these are rather obscure milestones. When I knew DTG existed, it already allowed edition of Word and Excel, and allowed review of PowerPoint. 1999 or 2000 I think. Just as r0k & jig, I've used it for so many years that I don't even remember by heart the whole evolution of this excellent mobile productivity suite.
In a sideline, I was recently offered by a retailer a good deal for QuickOffice, but I declined. DTG is pretty much all I need when mobile for Office docs."Do or do not. There is no try." - Yoda. Re: Quick Question
Remember though that the original DTG did not allow editing of native files -- they always had to be converted through DTG desktop. It wasn't until much later that editing of native files was offered. I guess we need clarification from the OP.

Re: Quick Question
Yeah, but I think that the very use of native files dates back to version 5 or 4. Before that, all files had to be converted to be used on the mobile device. No native file support.
