impression, 9650
Just wanted to give my short impression on the new 9650. One thing I can say, is there is no question, that this device is a major advance over my 8330. I have read and heard, that its just a new Tour. Ummmm no, its not. It has lots more memory, will be upgradeable to 6.0, and does have wifi. The wifi is nice to have at home, and for quicker reading of stories etc at Starbucks. The jump from 4.5 to 5 is a pretty big change, and I still am learning its ins and outs, but overall, I love this thing.
If you have anything older than a Tour, definitely upgrade. If you have a tour, its up to you. I kind of like skipping generations myself, as you can really get a major benefit of an upgrade this way. Also, it helps bugs get worked out before you jump. IMHO, if you are on an original Tour, wait for the 6.0 devices to come out, and make your choice. Its worth an upgrade from a standard Tour, but you might miss out on features of the next versions. Rim has proven to me, that the advances they make on devices and OS, are really advances, and not just minor improvements.nuvi 765t, iPhone 5, Still waiting on BB10 phones to review. Primarily Mac focused, only using my PC's when dragged kicking and screaming.
