Default BB Pearl vs Palm 700w

So for my next phone will be choosing between those two most likely. I just wondered if someone can compare/contrast the positives/negatives?

The palm, under certain carriers, has "push" email services now. Is this free? Does that mean I don't need a data plan to receive emails?

In order of features I would like to see are:
    1. snyc-able with a pc for calenders, ring tones, etc (ie not having to use the carrier's browser)
    2. wifi abilities
    3. gps possibilities/add-ons
    4. the odd event that I might use email service (I have pretty easy computer access anyway and I really don't want a heavy data plan)

So if anyone can please rate the phones/compare over those categories I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    WG
