Asus A730 3427 Update

It seems that Asus has released an update for our beloved pda.
You might have to try a few times on the global link. Nothing else seems to work. BTW- the A730W also has this update.

The problem is that I can't seem to install it. The instructions on the site are extremely unclear, and I am confuuused.
Anyways, if anyone can manage to figure out exactly how to install this update, I'd be very grateful for the help.

Also, what is that aku2 update that supposedly has WMP10 that Justin at Proportable and some other reviewers have, and where can one get it.

First you have to copy the update file onto an SD or CF card. Next, place the card in the Asus and soft reset the device while holding the camera button, and the tasks button. The update should begin automatically. Once its finished, you need to hard reset your device by soft reseting while holding the power button.

***Note: after installing this update, my backup file will not load. I'm guessing you'll have to reload everything manually.

All that I've heard about this update is that apparently a reviewer over at pocketpcthoughts.com reviewed a unit that had the update. There has been no official word (as far as I know) from Asus that states when or if this update will be available.
