dell to realease new handheld in near future?

dell is going to release 2 new handhelds, the x3 and the x7 it was posted at http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,107043,00.asp

in the middle of the last paragraph it says

"The X5 is but the first in a series of planned Axims, Dell executives say. Early in 2003, the company plans to launch a thin and lightweight Axim, the X3, and a wireless-enabled version, the X7."

notice all the models correspond to BMW models-the X3(3 series), X5 (5 series and the SUV is also called the X5) and the X7(7 series)...someone has a fetish...

You should see the parking lot outside of the Dell A building. I bet you are right about the fetish.

Could be worse...BMW's are nice, unless they are sitting at the bottom of a channel somewhere. In that case, BMW's make wonderful aquariums!

Indeed that quote may be a slip or an aggressive writer's imagination. Either way though, Dell will make the most of this opportunity. It's not out of hand to think they'd make a small thin version (h1910) and a more powerful version with WiFi or whatever (h5450).
