yikes, i lost my avantgo

im 90% sure that i deleted avantgo in a rage since i couldnt get it to work, well, now i want it back as a desktop icon...how do i bring it back. its still under the internet explorer, but how do i bring the desktop icon back (er...program file icon). There was one wasnt there?

If you go to Start->Settings->Control Panel do you see an "Avantgo Connect" icon? I never had an Avantgo icon on my desktop...

doh, lemme clarify, i meant to say this was all on my pocket pc, not my desktop computer. hope that helps...lol

I guess it was all that mentioning of "desktop" that threw me off - on the PPC, we call the "desktop" the "Today" screen. ;)

I've never seen an icon for it, and I believe it's installed in your Pocket PC's ROM, so it can't be deleted...when you go to Start->Settings->Connections (tab) on your Pocket PC do you see an "AvantGo Connect" icon?

AvantGo no longer has a program icon on PPC. It works inside of Pocket IE.

Go to their website and dowload the latest version of their software if you want to reinstall it. There will be a desktop (PC) component and a PPC application.
