Rebate Form

Hi all,

This is my first post here although i've been reading the posts in this board for a while(great resource!). I received my Dell Axim X5 last week and having trouble filling out the Rebarte form. I'm from Canada and it asks for a "Dell Service Tag Number(Required)". Does anyone know where i can find this information on the invoice or the packing slip? It may be a small issue but but i just can't find it anywhere. Thanks!

It is on the sticker under the battery.

Don't forget about your customer # which is on the packing slip.

Also, make a copy of EVERYTHING you send. Send a copy of the packing slip, not the original. Keep as much original paperwork as you can.

Thanks! I found it...just realized that the service tag number is on the invoice too at the bottom under "comments". Now i can anxiously wait 4 months for my $80:D

BTW...my Axim is great! I got the 300mhz one..but NES, CC/GG play great on it!

How long did Dell take to get it to you? I ordered my 300 on the 3rd of Dec and got it on the 6th. I'm returning it (problems) and have upgraded to the 400 because I'm a sucker.

I ordered it online on Thurs Dec 5th at night and it came on the 10th (Tues). I was actually hoping it would come later cause i had a bunch of finals to write last week...but it wasn't that much of a distraction:rolleyes: The 300 one is enough for me as this is my first PDA, and i don't think i have that D-pad problem.

Yup, Dell Canada seems quick, mine took a week.

That rebate form thing is a royal hassle. Take note that you have 30 days from purchase to send it in. I printed mine online because God knows when Dell will send it along. Still, it's a bargain! I wonder if they are going to truly stop offering the rebate... I want them too because I childishly want to be right for having impulsively gone ahead and splurged on my 300mhz!
