does anyone have a microdrive with their axim yet? and if yes, which ones work good on the device? and where can i get a fairly cheap 2-5 gig microdrive?

are the microdrives gonna work without the cf slot which you put them in? AND what is the biggest cf ram card which is on sale right now. (eather way i need to find a card which packs 2-5 gigs on it for a low price) if anyone knows anything about it or has some info plz post.

The microdrive should have no problem in the Axim, since the Axim has a Type II CF slot. The highest capacity microdrive is 1 GB - there are also 340 and 512 MB versions. The 340 MB one can be found for under $100 some places online (usually used). The 1 GB one is more expensive - but I'm not sure how much.

The highest capacity solid-state Flash CF card right now is 1 GB, and those are really expensive. A 3 GB CF Card will be available from Pretec by the end of the year for $2499 (bargain, huh?).

I don't understand the first sentence of your second post... :confused:

hey do you think that the microdrives will work without anny addons? (like just put the microdrive in the slot?) thats what i ment thx.

It should work no problem - I presume by add-ons you mean drivers. You shouldn't have any trouble. Just pop it in and go.
