I installed the Belkin CompactFlash Bluetooth PDA Adapter Card, but when I run the Bluetooth Manager it says "Please insert the Bluetooth Hardware and try again."

Nothing happens when I plug or unplug the card.

Anybody know why???

Billionton has released the NEW WIDCOMM BT stack for thier CF cards, said drivers also work perfectly well with the BELKIN CF PDA Adapter..

The new stack is versioned 1.3.2.7 (looks like the iPAQ 5450's bluetooth stack)..

You can snag the TYPE-N drivers

http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm

Install the pocket pc version underneath the root folder and try again.

I second gdaswani, i just installed that software from Billionton and it certainly does work on Axim. It does not work on toshiba e740 though. :(

Yep, the e740 definitely has some funkiness with WIDCOMM Bluetooth Stacks on PPC's.. It also definitely sucks as WIDCOMM probably has the best implementation of BT on PPC's (just look at all the profiles it supports, yeoow!)..

Before the ROM upgrade, the WIDCOMM stack worked just fine, toshiba must have done something with the new ROM (maybe some sort of conflict with thier built in bt stack)..

If you get a BT adapter for your e740, make sure you don't get one that uses the WIDCOMM stack.
