How do you get the $265 for the Axim Advanced?

I've been lurking in this forum and I've come across people having been able to get the Axim Advanced for $265. How'd you guys do it?

I called Dell and the rep told me that the Axim is exempt from the 10% discount.

I got it from Dell Small business division, when the 10% was on, but I got taxed because of that as well, + i got extra 5% for using american express card. Check curent coupons on www.techbargains.com

Thanks! I called Dell again and got the 10% plus free shipping! Came to $314 plus rebate which will make it $265!

I accutally have a code you can use to get the 10% off. You can get free shipping, which is cool. You get the shaft because you have to pay for tax, but for an Axim 64 meg at under $300.. not too shabby. :)

I was emailed a 10% off code because I was a previous Dell customer. So I got my Axim 400MHZ ( I don't like the basic/advance names, they sound demeaning) for $350 -10% -$50 rebate = 265 with free shipping.

You don't need the coupon code if you call in your order. You just got to get a rep who will give you the 10%. I got it on my second try.

If you purchased from dell just tell them your old customer number and say that you do not have the latest promotional magazine but would still like to buy the product.

They will give you the 10% off unless they have PMS

But call early.. late in the day reps usually have PMS. I used to work at Dell at night and if anyone called and started whinning about something, I usually would laugh and tell them to call back int he morning.
