At least until there is an EB Slipper or Vaja case available. What are you using right now?

I'm happy with my Sportsuite III from Marware.com

The Case Logic Strongman is what I'm using now. A bit fat... I like a combo wallet/case. I'm pleased that it seems to provide good protection, the screen is very safe. And I like that I can use the Axim quite well without taking it out of the wallet.

But it is fat. I might consider another option, maybe a velcro one, the plastic holder in the strongarm is what makes this unit so pudgy.

I had tried another universal case, the Aurex Prestige, but I returned it to Staples and got the Case Logic. It was too awkward to use the Axim in the Wallet, although it was a nice snug fit and a smaller case. I don't recommend it despite that, one thing too was that when you slipped it in the case the jog dial thing on the side would get stuck "up"and scroll relentlessly.

Slip cover from an old Casio e-105.

I am now using the Body Glove Ion, which is a very attactive case from the outside, and practical to use. It does require the use of the stick on velcro on the back of the unit, which I do not like. Looks like the Case Logic uses some kind of an arm to hold the unit in place, rather that the Velcro. May want to give it a try.

I am using a Rhinoskin hard case that I bought awhile ago for my EM-500 (it is no longer available). It fits perfectly. I am hoping that RhinoSKin will make one of their aluminum hardcases for the Axim, because the one I am using now is just black.

I'm using a bodyglove case as well but its probably temporary until I can find something like the jornada 568's flip cover. This way I could slip it in a pocket (carefully of course).

Mine actually fits perfect in my neoprene sports case from my Visor Prism.

The only problem is that the case still says Handspring on it :D .

I'm using the default Dell case. ;)

If I ever receive my Axim, I'll use an EB Copilot 30. I think it has just enough added depth to hold a Toshi 2GB PCMCIA drive slipped in behind the Axim, but not so much room that the Axim will flop around if I don't have the drive inserted. Make sense? Plus, I like the removable belt clip, whereas I'm not too fond of the belt loop/permanent clip on the Sportsuit. Otherwise, I'd get one of the latter...

Of course, the device may never come because of the...
Stupid Axim keyboard!

The included pack-in case. A bit big but it'll do for now until something better comes along.

I'm using a Toshiba case that has a swivel belt clip and a thin button flap on top. Bought it at Compusa for $19.95. The Axim fits well in the case.

If you want a bunch of cases take a look at targus.

http://www.targus.com

Just go to cases put in the dimensions of the Axim and you will get around 20 to 30 cases to choose from.

Actually, I'm using the optional leather case that dell offers at an additional price. I was looking for something that zipped completely up and allowed me to use my Axim without having to take it out. I've been very happy with it so far, but seeing as how I don't carry it on my person anyway size wasn't much an issue.

A strange thing though. The leather really does smell kind of gross. It's unlike any leather I've ever smelled before! Current theory around the office is that in an effort to cut costs the manufacturer has turned from cows to ferrets...

Does anybody find a case (no velcro) that fits without having to remove a wifi card from axim?

Just measure the PDA with the WIFI card then go to targus and input the custom settings on their web page.

You will get a number of choices to choose from.

For now I am using that case too until Vaja Cases or Piel Frama come up with a form fitted case so that I can put my Axim back in the shirt pocket. I did cut out a piece of the stiffest cardboard I could find (5.5 x 3.25) and inserted it in the big pocket of the case front part to give the screen better protection.

Hehe, yes well I still hold firm that mine was rushed through the curing process. Honestly, people can tell when I'm using my beloved Axim without even looking at me. Even had one person ask if I was eating beef jerkey... ;)

Use the univsersal for my Cassiopeia E125, but ripped out the arm and replace it with velcro: the arm scratched the surface of my unit! Besides, there was not enough room left for extra styli, memcards etc. Now it fits perfectly. ALthough I have to agree sticking velcor to your unit is not the best option, but preferable over the CLAW! ;)
